Helping people of all ages live safely, confidently and independently
HB Rehab is one of Newcastle's most reputable allied health practice's and a registered NDIS provider, offering occupational therapy and physiotherapy for children, adults and older people. For more than 25 years we have helped people across Newcastle and the Hunter access the NDIS, build skills, stay safe at home and take part in the things that matter to them.

Our Story
HB Rehab began in 1999, when occupational therapist Helen Bell opened her own private practice. From the start, the aim was simple: get to know each person properly, and give advice that works in real life.

That approach is still at the heart of what we do. The practice has grown into a team of occupational therapists and physiotherapists, supported by a friendly admin team at our Wallsend clinic. We are still local, still independent, and still small enough to know our clients by name.

A Team You Can Trust
Every therapist at HB Rehab is registered with AHPRA. Our work is grounded in best practice and current research, and our team includes clinicians with many years of experience across the lifespan.
We invest in our people through supervision, mentoring and ongoing training, so the therapist you see is well supported and up to date.

We Come To You
Therapy works best in the places where life happens. We see clients at home, at school, at work and in the community, as well as in our clinic at 147 Nelson Street, Wallsend.
