hb rehab was established by Helen Bell who qualified as an Occupational Therapist in 1987 and commenced her private practice in 1999. Her daughter, Alison Bell, joined the practice in 2003 as an administrative assistant before qualifying as an Occupational Therapist in 2009.

This family owned business has grown rapidly over the years, comprising a team of highly experienced Occupational Therapists, Physiotherapists and Case Managers.

We provide services across various funding platforms such as the NDIS, iCare (LTCS, Worker's Care), Worker's Compensation (treatment only), CTP, Private Health, Medicare and to those clients who are self-funded. hb rehab and hb kids are a well-known and respected provider of Occupational Therapy, Physiotherapy and Case Management services and is a preferred provider for many of our customers and clients. All professional staff are registered with AHPRA and are members of their professional association.

Assessment and treatment services are delivered within clients’ homes, at their workplace, in their school, in their local community or in our clinic in Wallsend. We are committed to providing the highest level of service based on best practice principles and current research. Feedback is sought via surveys and direct contact to ensure we are consistently meeting the needs of both clients and customers.
